Welcome to my first newsletter!
I am going to briefly share a few things I have been up to and what's happening now.
First and most importantly my wife and I welcomed our first child, Cecelia into this world.
She is incredible, we feel very blessed to have her in our lives.
This past year has also welcomed me back to teaching some, and it's been a lot of fun. I am currently planning my own workshops and assembling lists of interest artists. I may do some smaller ones in my studio over the winter, but back outdoors in the spring. If interested in either send an email with workshop in the subject please.
The Donut painting seen below was part of a fun show at the Portland Public Library titled "Donut The Hole History"
As a person that loves to paint donuts, I felt right at home and hope they include me in more shows,
Both paintings in the show are available on my website.
I just had two paintings accepted into a Maine state wide show titled Art In ME (Maine) This show sees upwards of 500 entries, so it really says something to be accepted in!
If you'd like to see these paintings they will be on display through the month of October with a closing reception in early November at the Boothbay Regional Art Foundation.
Last bit of news and probably the most fun!
I will be having an Open Studio (Sale) through the Fall/early Winter, with some of that posted in a special section of my website titled "Open Studio" the works there will ever shifting so check back often. The website sales all include free shipping in the lower 48 states USA. If you live elsewhere and would like a painting reach out and we'll figure out your added cost.
The Open Studio will allow me to share many available works that I have not put online and are large enough that I will not ship. If you will be or would like to be near Buxton Maine this Fall/Winter, send me an email and schedule a visit for the Open Studio.
Thank you for joining my email list and making it this far though my ramblings
Until next time
be good to each other
Daniel Corey
